Communications Specialist | Independent Scholar | Storyteller

I was born and raised on Abenaki Lands in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, where localism instilled a strong sense of place that has shaped my studies and work. I hold a BA in Environmental Studies from Bates College and an MA in Environmental Humanities from the University of Utah.

My work has been published in Edge Effects, Resilience, VT Digger, Juneau Empire, and is forthcoming in books published by Routledge and the University of Utah Press. I have been awarded fellowships from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the Alaska Fellows Program.

I am passionate about environmental justice, anti-colonial placemaking, and communication. I seek to engage in projects and research that align with these interests.
